Charles "Skip" Skinner
1939-2007

Skinner, "Skip" Charles

This wonderful man born June 26, 1939 left this world on April 20, 2007 after a 13-week courageous battle with a brain tumor.  His gracious gentle demeanor and compassionate joyful soul has left a positive mark on all who knew him.  Though we know he's in a better place, many will grieve his absence.

Among those are his "Beloved Soul mate" of almost 19 years, Jean Berry, daughter Dawn Skinner, grandson Nicholas Skinner, sister and brother. Jean's family, Cindy/Rich, Connie/Jeff and Dixie/Alex who loved and shared a Father/Daughter/Son relationship with him.  Also, Skip's many friends who he truly loved and cared for unconditionally.

Skip was proud of his Tenure of 34 years teaching High School Social Studies, Psychology and History at Highland Park Senior High in St. Paul.  He gave to the world in every breath.  No one ever tried harder to achieve a perfect soul.  His primary concern was the happiness and comfort of others and to do no harm to human, animal or environment.

Services: Tues. April 24th 2:00 PM at The House of Hope Presbyterian Church at 797 Summit Ave., St. Paul. Reception following service.

In lieu of flowers, please show someone you love them. Memorials to: Little Hospice of Edina, 7019 Lynmar Lane, Edina, MN 55435 or CaringBridge, 1995 Rahn Cliff Court, Suite 200, Eagan, MN 55122.
