1926-2005

Scott Charles (Charlie) Watkins Scott, age 79, of Brooklyn Park, formerly of New York.

Preceded in death by parents, Wesley & Mary Jane (Watkins) Scott; 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

Survived by loving wife, Sylvia; daughter, Susy (Terry) Donohoe; son, Brian Scott; granddaughter, Leah Scott; sister, Grace Billman; mother-in-law, Verna Dahl; former wife, Dorothy (Reller) Scott; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Charlie served in the Navy and Marines in WW II.  Fought in the battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa.  Graduated from Syracuse University with a Chemical Engineering BS degree.  Moved to Mpls, employed with Honeywell Defense Systems for 32 years.  He loved alpine ski racing, fishing (especially for salmon in AK), hunting, RV'ing and woodworking.

Funeral service Monday, 2 PM at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 61 Mississippi Way NE, Fridley.

Visitation Sunday, 4-8 PM at Kapala-Glodek- Malone Funeral Home, 7800 Bass Lake Road, New Hope, & 1 hour prior to service at church.

Private interment. KAPALA-GLODEK MALONE 763-535-4112
