Schilling, Joan Kay - Age 60 Of Falcon Heights

Joan passed away on November 3, 2004 after suffering an extended illness. 

Joan worked as a Clinical Nurse Specialist for Hennepin County Mental Health Center for many years.  She was compassionate about helping her patient's needs and worked to help them in any capacity she could.  Joan was very active with her church.  She loved to travel to many exotic places with her dear friends and loved to share those experiences with family and friends.  She loved to visit museums and art galleries and listen to classical music.  She was also very active in the Audubon Society.

Joan was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Schilling.

She is survived by her loving parents, Woodrow and Dorothy Schilling of Roseville, MN; her sister and brother-in-law Joyce and Bill Poole of Atlanta, GA.; her brother David Schilling of Duluth, MN.; her brother and sisters-in-law Mark and Jan Walton of Chaska, MN.; her sister and brother-in-law Beverly and Jack Garchie of Maryville, TN.; her sister and brother-in-law Sue and Harold Weltzin of Maryville, TN.; her sister Kathy Schilling of Andover, MN.;her sister Linda Schilling of Everett, WA.; and her brother and sister-in-law Bradley and Diane Schilling of Lino Lakes, MN. She is also survived my many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles who love her and will miss her dearly.

Funeral services 11AM Monday at CENTRAL LUTHERAN CHURCH (333 S. 12th St., Mpls).

Visitation 4-8PM TODAY at the ROSEVILLE MEMORIAL CHAPEL (2245 N. Hamline Ave., Roseville) 651-631-2727 and one hour prior to services at church Monday. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
Memorials preferred to Central Lutheran Church, Audubon Society, or Donors choice.
