| There
were only 5 Ullrs who admitted to turning 70: Barb C, Dianne S,
Ellise L, Barb S and Cathy H. Only three of us were in town to
host the June 22 What's Cookin, so we were very thankful that
Joyce K,. Don S, Joan R, Gary & Karen G, Ted & Sigrid M.
volunteered to help set up, serve and clean up. About 75 people enjoyed pulled pork sandwiches, cole slaw, peaches, chips and birthday cake. I believe the cake was most popular as we had two sheet cakes (serves 90+ large pieces), and you can see from the picture above what was left! The late afternoon started out sunny and warm, but the sky opened up just as people were leaving. Rain or sun--we always have fun! Submitted by Barb C |
