Willow River State Park Hike

"Neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet, nor hail shall keep the ULLR Ski Club from their appointed hike."

Saturday October 13th began with a slight drizzle, however, nine brave ULLR Hikers meet in Wisconsin at Willow River State Park for a four mile hike led by Joella Wilson.  Through the woods, up and down we trekked until we came upon a beautiful waterfall, still flowing strong.  Up the side of the hill we continued to two scenic overviews of the Willow River and surrounding park.  Droplets of water hung delicately on branches of trees as we headed up the trail.  Surprisingly, the trail was busy with other hikers and campers!  The drizzle picked up, and started to come down stronger, so the group headed back to the covered picnic area for lunch and conversation. A little damp, but we all enjoyed the afternoon hike!
