On Sunday September 30th, 38 ULLRs dodged thunder and rain to enjoy a ride on the Minnehaha Steamboat...

Captain Bob Higgins, assisted by Purser John Egan, took us around Big Island and the Minnetonka yacht club while talking about some of the lake's history.  Some the ULLRs who wanted to pilot the boat were given the opportunity under Bob's watchful eye.  Others enjoyed the ride and the scenery even on the upper deck despite the weather.

At the end of the ride, the other passengers were dropped off at Excelsior Dock, but ULLRs  were fortunate to get an extended ride to the restaurant where we enjoyed a great dinner with a view of the lake.
