Hiking in January??  Yes!  10 hardy ULLRS enjoyed a brisk hike on 1/13/07.  This event was advertised as a cross country ski outing, no snow yet another year.  In spite of it all, we enjoyed the good company, the fresh air, and the winter scenery.  JJ, our designated leader guided us for 4.2 miles through some interesting terrain, including a Hansel and Gretel type forest. 

One of our hikers temporarily got lost while taking a nature call detour then lost his direction, and without help from the overcast sky he wandered another 2 miles before rejoining the flock.  One could never call these ULLRS wimpy!  What fun in the cold.
